Delete your Bookmo account
You can ask us to delete your Bookmo account and the information that comes with it. It works the same whether you signed up with Google or with Facebook.
How to ask
- Cancel any upcoming bookings you don't want to keep, from Bookings at the top of the Bookmo app. Once your account is deleted you can't sign in to change them.
- Email support@bookmo.ph from the email address you use to sign in to Bookmo, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you can't send it from that address, tell us which email address your account uses, and we'll check with you that the account is yours before we delete anything.
- We'll delete your account within 30 days and reply to tell you it's done.
Your Bookmo account is your email address, so one request covers signing in with both Google and Facebook.
What we delete
- Your account: your name, email address, profile photo and the link to your Google account. You can no longer sign in with it. If you continue with Google or Facebook again later, you start a new, empty account.
- Staff invitations sent to your email address.
- If you work at a business: your place on its staff, so you no longer appear in its staff list or on its booking page. Appointments you were booked for stay with the business as Unassigned, and notes you wrote stay without your name.
- If you own a business: say in your email who should take the business over, or that you want to close it. We'll agree with you what happens to the business before we delete your account.
What a business keeps
Deleting your account deletes the account itself, but your bookings stay with each business you booked, together with its client record for you, because they are the business's record of a paid service. They are no longer linked to your account.
The business also keeps any notes its staff wrote about your visits. Bookmo doesn't delete a business's bookings when you ask to delete your account.
The same goes for a record a business made for you without a Bookmo account, for example when you walked in. To have a business remove its client record or notes about you, ask the business, or name the business in your email and we'll pass your request on to it.
